Terindah Estate is on beautiful Wadawurrung country.

Peter & Cate Slattery were captivated by the farming property “Terindah” the moment they set eyes on it in 2000. When Peter recognized the farm’s northern aspect, low rainfall, cooling bay breezes and gentle climate provided the perfect terroir for winemaking, he started planting grapes. Peter and Cate felt “Terindah” meaning “most beautiful” in Indonesian, the name given by the previous owners, would be perfect for their new wine label.

Initially planting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, then Shiraz, Zinfandel and Picolet grapes followed. From Sparkling to Shiraz, each bottle encapsulates Terindah Estate’s commitment to perfection, ensuring that both grape quality and unique fruit characters shine.

Yet, there’s more to Terindah than wine and breathtaking bay views.

Terindah Estate is a legacy of Peter and Cate’s love story, a marriage of 53 years and their evolving shared vision to create the Bellarine’s premier food and wine destination. The late Peter Slattery loved the property and it is his passion, warmth and character that underpin the experiences Terindah Estate provides, from the cellar door, bustling restaurant “The Shed”, Events Centre, Tram Bar and the beach.

  Had a really special lunch here for two on a Sunday arvo in the shed. Beautiful outlook, beaming sun shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and attentive service. The portion sizes are a bit confusing, but we were able to land on something that worked for us.

The mussels, pork belly, chicken and wedges were all fantastic. They weren't selling bottles of the pinot gris (but would sell glasses?) and the food took a bit longer than expected for the small amount of attendees there, but if I'm giving this a 4.5/5 then I'm happy to round up to 5.   This was our first visit to Terindah Estate and we really enjoyed ourselves there. The food was excellent and my fish was not overcooked. Juicy on the inside yet it had a crispy skin. What could I ask for more? And the views were spectacular. From where we were seated, we could look back at Melbourne City and also to Mt. Macedon.

  My partner and I had lunch at The Shed today and the entire experience was sensational. The new menu designed by the new chef is outstanding. Our entire lunch was delicious along with the wines.
Compliments to the new chef and to our waitress Kathryn who had a terrific sense of humour and looked after us so well.
We live locally and already look forward to our next meal at Terindah.
